We are a clinical commissioning group (although you will mostly hear us described as a CCG), that plans, organises and buys a range of healthcare services for people that live in Chorley and South Ribble.

We are part of the National Health Service (or NHS), but being a clinical commissioning group means that we are run by local healthcare professionals, such as family doctors, hospital doctors and nurses. We are also a member organisation – our members are made up of all of the 32 GP practices in Chorley and South Ribble.

Use our website to find out more about us and the work we do, to help you find out about local health services in your area, and to see how you can get involved in decisions made about local healthcare.
