The Wellbeing Service offers a professional, proactive and approachable service; providing a range of interventions for students encountering emotional, mental health and physical or learning difficulties while at UEA; enabling them to realise their potential and participate full in their university lives and beyond.

The Wellbeing Service is located in the Dean of Students’ Office (DOS) building alongside other services that can help with a broad range of difficulties and situations such as finance, problems in residences and academic challenges.

NHS Norwich Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) became a statutory body from April 1st 2013. Our main responsibility is to use the budget we are allocated to commission local NHS services such as hospital, community, mental health and urgent/emergency health care. We are also responsible for ensuring patient care is safe and ‘high quality’.

We are “clinically-led” which means NHS doctors and nurses set the local health strategy, supported by a team of experienced NHS managers.

At Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust we provide mental health, substance misuse and learning disability services across Norfolk and Suffolk. At the Trust, we believe in recovery and wellbeing, and understand the importance of good physical health, maintaining relationships and achieving a balance between treatments and continuing an active life.
