Swansea Mental Health Information

Information, advice and support around mental wellbeing and mental health problems

A number of organisations – both local and national – provide mental health information, advice or support.

One in four of us can expect to experience a mental health problem at some point in our lives. Understanding emotional or wellbeing issues and having access to advice on how they can be managed are important first steps that can prevent conditions from worsening further down the line.

Self-Help Guides

The local partnership board for mental health services in Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea has developed a series of online self-help guides www.selfhelpguides.ntw.nhs.uk/abmu/ designed to offer information and advice on a wide range of subjects. The guides help users to make sense of emotional and wellbeing issues and signpost to appropriate services if further support is needed .
